How it works?
The transitions between wakefulness and sleep are closely linked to variations in the level of melatonin, a hormone produced by the brain which falls in the morning and rises in the evening. These variations depend heavily on the influence of light: its intensity and its wavelength, the visible manifestation of which is color. NightCove uses LEDs rather than traditional bulbs. This makes it possible to control wavelengths, intensity and variations of light to produce the optimal sleeping environment.
