Design festival and conference Future Design Days kicks off monday, Nov 13.

Fashion: Skatewell, Skate cool

This new brand was established in 2005 as the creation of Anthony Skatewell a young dude from the middle of the U.S.
With a simple design and big dream Skatewell will quickly become an apparel brand that will gain love from young skaters across the land.
Unlike the other brands, Skatewell's production area is limited to a small group of manufacturers, so products each year are very limitated.

A minimalist design: appreciated!

Digital Feature: Boombox by Nokia

The finnish vendor Nokia decides to face to Ipod by launching its first music boombox, Ghetto Blaster.
Designed clearly for the eyes, Ghetto Blaster is a sort of transparent briefcase equiped with a Nokia phone & two loud speakers.
An amazing product for this brand, available now just in Finland before a worldwide launch.

Shop: Dope Store, Lyon

The Dope Store has now opened its doors right across from the Shoez Gallery in Lyon, France. Dope Store and Shoez Gallery are actually from the same owner, with both carrying the best in streetwear and sneaker labels.

The Shoez Gallery has a Nike Quickstrike and 45 Days Account, but also carry brands like Adidas, Etnies Plus, New Balance, Creative Recreation and Visvim. The Dope Store on the other hand carries premium streetwer labels like Stussy, Zoo York, Freshjive, aNYthing, Levi’s Vintage, with MHI and Mighty Healthy being added to their account soon.

Art: Colour Vision by Alexander Wiethoff

The designer Alexander Wiethoff presentes an interactive installation @ the Museum of Perception in Rohrbach (Austria): the visitor can change the room colour over his body position. The posture symbolizes the different statuses like activity, calmness, reflectiveness, and is visualized by different colours.
