Design&Architecture: Le Corbusier's Mural, Nov. 19 2006 - Jan 20 2007 - Paris
The Mural in the studio at 35 rue de Sèvres has recently undergone full of the structure and the pictorial layer, technical support and scientific monitoring for which were provided by the French Museums Centre for Research and Restoration (C2RMF) @ Versailles.
The public is invited to preview of this impressive work @ the Fondation Le Corbusier.
It will be displayed together with preparatory drawings and photographs taken in its original position, in the studio at 35 rue de Sèvres. Drawings of the large mural painting at Swiss Pavilion at the Cité Universitaire Internationale de Paris, executed the same year, will also be exhibited. In addition, there will be a photographic reproduction of all the other murals executed by Le Corbusier: Vezelay, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (E1027, Cabanon, Etoile de Mer), Long Island, The Swiss Pavilion.
